Safety Rules
The safety of Era passengers and crew are the primary concern
throughout all Era operations. Please take a moment to read our
safety rules - for your personal safety and the safety of fellow
passengers and your pilot(s). Era is committed to providing passengers
with a stress-free check-in and flight.
- Confirm the details of your flight, including the time and
place of departure, with your company or with Era Helicopters.
Weather often plays a factor in departure times.
- Check in promptly
at your designated base with Era staff at the check-in counter.
- Use caution when lifting luggage or other heavy items to place
them in or remove them from the aircraft cargo hold.
- Please
listen carefully to pre-flight safety instructions given by
the pilot or crew.
You will be given instruction on safety, which will include
walking safety to and from the aircraft, correct usage of
the aircraft
door handles and locks, and seatbelts. This information may
vary, depending on aircraft model.
- Read and obey all safety-related
signs on ground at the base and in the aircraft during the
flight.
- Restricted items are not permitted onboard the aircraft.
- Always
avoid consuming alcohol before a flight.
- Smoking or chewing
tobacco is not permitted on or near the aircraft.
- Your seatbelt
must remain fastened for the entire duration of your flight.
Wait for instruction from the pilot
to unfasten your seatbelt.
- Use personal protection
equipment that is provided. This equipment includes a personal
flotation device
and headphones.
- Please remain seated during the
duration of the flight.
- Keep emergency exits clear.
- Refrain from departing the aircraft
until the pilot instructs you to do so.
- Use extreme caution
when exiting the aircraft.
