Era Helicopters LLC offers a valuable health care package which includes medical, dental, and prescription drug benefits for employees and their families. The health care package is designed to help you and your family stay healthy by offering several wellness benefits. In addition, the plan protects you and your family from high medical expenses associated with serious illness. Our managed care network enables employees to find quality, cost-efficient physicians, with a majority of your medical and prescription costs covered by Era.
Short-Term Disability Benefit
Era’s STD plan is a company-paid benefit that is designed to help provide employees with partial replacement of income due to a non-work related illness or injury. Employees on STD are paid 60% of their weekly base pay income up to $400/week. Payment continues for up to 26 weeks or until you are no longer disabled, whichever is first.
Long-Term Disability
Era’s LTD plan is a company-paid benefit that is designed to help provide employees with replacement income in the event that they are disabled for more than 26 weeks. The monthly benefit can be up to 40% of your monthly base pay, to a maximum of $1,000/month. Employee buy up long term disability protection is available. Payment may continue for up to 5 years, or to the age of 65, whichever is first.
Basic Life & Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance
Era Helicopters LLC provides company paid life insurance for all full-time employees.
Optional Voluntary Life Insurance
Employees may elect to purchase additional coverage at an additional cost based upon age, up to $200,000.
401K Retirement Savings Program
The Era Retirement Savings Program is designed to help you prepare for your retirement. The program does so in three ways:

You may save 1-60% of your income before taxes. The company matches 50% of the first 6% you contribute. Employees can choose investment options from numerous investment funds.
Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP)
SEACOR will offer its shares for purchase for six-month periods beginning on September 1 and March 1 of each calendar year. Employees are given the opportunity to purchase company stock through payroll deductions at a price equal to 85% of the lesser of (i) the fair market value of a share on the first day of such offering or (ii) the fair market value of a share on the last day of such an offering.
