2008/08/06 Era Training Center LLC Announces First FAA Aproved CFR Part 60 Level 6 Flight Training Device
Era Training Center LLC (Era Training Center) announced today that it has obtained CFR part 60 Level 6 qualification from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) for its EC135 CPDS P2+ Flight Simulator Training Device (FSTD). The EC135 FSTD, built by Frasca International, Inc. (Frasca), offers an exact cockpit replication, duplicating both the single pilot and dual pilot Instrument Flight Rules (IFR) configuration.

2008/02/25 Era Training Center receives its first training device at HELI-EXPO 2008
Era Training Center LLC (Era Training Center) was presented its first Flight Training Device (FTD) from Frasca International, Inc. during a ceremony held at Heli-Expo 2008. The EC135 FTD will be used at Era Training Center’s new 7,694 square foot helicopter training facility scheduled to open in early 2008. The facility will initially feature two helicopter FTDs, an AS-350B2 FTD and an EC-135 CPDS P2+ FTD.

2008/02/24 Turbomeca USA (SAFRAN Group) and Era Helicopters LLC sign a SBH contract for Makila engines at Heli-Expo
The Support By the Hour (SBH®) contract covers 16 Turbomeca Makila 2A engines to power Era’s new fleet of eight Eurocopter EC 225 helicopters. The engines will be operated by Era or third parties in a pool arrangement and will perform missions in the Gulf of Mexico and Europe. Each are expected to fly a minimum of 1,000 hours per year.

2008/02/24 American Eurocopter Delivers the First EC225 in the United States to Era Helicopters LLC
Houston, TX - Heli-Expo 2008 - American Eurocopter marked the delivery of the first EC225 in the United States today during a ceremony at the Eurocopter booth at Heli-Expo 2008. The helicopter was delivered to Era Helicopters LLC, a subsidiary of SEACOR Holdings Inc. (NYSE:CKH). Era Helicopters will take delivery of three additional EC225’s this year, two in 2009 and two more in 2010.
